I enjoy shooting under conditions that make me hustle.  Goal: Shoot as many poses as possible before daylight ends. This is obviously different than the traditional bridal and famliy portraits where you shoot dozens of shots of the same pose with minor adjustments to the dress, head position, lighting…etc It’s all fun.
The sun was setting fast and the temp was getting lower, but we still managed to shoot all of these poses in less than 30 min. Very nice of Ellen to work with me today. Thanks!!!

Cameron enjoys shooting photos almost as much as I do.  I also doesn’t mind posing for a few shots when I ask him to, and sometimes you will see him tagging along with me while I am shooting photos.  He has his own little digital that he carries and he knows how to use it!

I am currently working on a personal project to shoot photos and list some brief history of the courthouses located in each of the 100 county seats of North Carolina. I like to take day trips and this will be a perfect opportunity to see parts of North Carolina that I have yet to visit. Although many of the locations I can travel to within a day some overnight trips will be required. I hope to have a new set to post each week until the project is complete.courthouse2

Brian and Elizabeth exchanged their vows at the historic Leak Wall House in Rockingham, N.C.  The gardens are very beautiful and provide a wonderful setting for weddings.  More photos from Brian and Elizabeth’s wedding can be viewed by clicking here to visit their gallery.

After months of talking about it, I finally made arrangements to shoot a few photos of Sherrie.  Actually, we shot more than a few.  I used 3 8gig flash cards and have yet to complete processing all of them.  We took advantage of the natural scenery near Badin Lake as well as the downtown area of Troy NC.  I look forward to sharing the remaining photos soon.  Thanks Sherrie!!!

Taking the advise from a P.R. instructor, I decided to go ahead and begin tweeting.  I didnt have enough passwords and status messages to keepo up with anyway.  Fortunately I was able to download an application on my Facebook page to pull my tweets/status messages.  I suppose that we will see how it goes for a few months. Tweet! Chad and Ashleigh had a beautiful wedding with many family members and friends participating.  The entire day was pleasant with the exception of a brief rain period following the wedding.  This was just a small kink in a perfectly planned wedding.  Upon our first meeting several months ago Ashleigh made it clear that she wanted some fun shots and lots of candid photos during the reception.  Just over 2000 clicks of the shutter provided me with a large selection of photos for Chad and Ashleigh to choose from.  I had a good time shooting!

The collection of photos can be viewed by clicking on the following link -www.chadandashleigh.com
