meblogI have enjoyed photography and meeting new people for many years.  In the beginning most of my photos were of my kids and vacation shots.  My first professional experience began 22 years ago shooting photos for websites that I design.  I learned the basics with a couple of small point and shoot cameras.   As digital camera technology has advanced I have been able to improve my skills to offer a quality photograph.

I am excited to have opportunity to capture and share special moments.  During my photo sessions I creating a relaxing and fun atmosphere for your experience.  I enjoy shooting portraits, wedding formals and candid during special events.  I consider photography an art form and also enjoy shooting sporting events, scenic, real estate and product shots.

I have had photos printed in various publications and websites.  Two current long term projects include Richmond County Focus Magazine and 100 N.C. Courthouses.  Richmond County Focus magazine showcases the people, natural beauty and progressive business climate of the area through original photography and professionally written stories. 100 N.C. Courthouses will provide photographs and a brief history of the Courthouses of each County in North Carolina.

I also freelance for several marketing firms, the Richmond County Daily Journal and other affiliated newspapers throughout the state of North Carolina.  My photos have also been featured in travel and tourism, student text books, promotional materials and publications offered by the Smithsonian Institute.

Some of my most recent Fine Arts images can be seen at Pattans Downtown Grille at 228 A East Washington St.  Rockingham, North Carolina.  Metal prints up to 60″ x 40″ are on display in the restaurant.

I have exhibited fine art prints at Arts Richmond in Downtown Rockingham, NC.
